I began working as a Child Chaperone, or Wrangler, to the Children's Chorus at The Metropolitan Opera in September of 2021. While making my way through the building, I noticed many beautiful posters and works of art, but none that highlighted the meticulous and dedicated work of the children's chorus. Modest Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov was the first opera I was scheduled to work on and was an incredible experience to be a part of, particularly because of the significant role the children play in the piece. I decided to create the piece above in honor of their contribution to the production. On the day of the final show I gave out sticker-version of the piece, depicting the scene in which the children play the largest role, to all who were involved in producing this particular scene, including the actor who plays the Holy Fool, a character who interacts extensively with the children in the opera and can be found in the center of the design.
In Spring of 2020, I was asked by Davidson College's Music Department to design the poster for the Opera Workshop's production of Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, which was to be reimagined with a 1920s-era speak-easy theme. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the opera was unable to be performed, but the poster remains on display in the Sloan music building at Davidson.
In June of 2020, I was commissioned by Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music&Art and Performing Art's New Music Ensemble, a group of students studying vocal and instrumental music that produces and performs original compositions, to create a series of posters promoting their virtual annual concert, presented on June 12, 2020 via YouTube. The posters were posted on Instagram for promotion during the week leading up to the event, and were displayed during and post-performance as part of the video compilation.
At Davidson College I am a member of After Hours Vocal Jazz, a student run choral group on campus. Each semester the group performs a concert for "Live Thursday," a series of student performances on Thursday nights in the Student Union. In Spring of 2018, I designed several posters promoting the event. The posters were put up around campus and were quite a hit! Examples of the works can be seen above.

Also in Spring of 2018, Ed Pritchard and Austin Bowley, two Davidson seniors, wrote a musical entitled The Fields of Elysium. I was asked to create a poster promoting it's debut on campus.
